Hi, I’m Asher. An amateur astronomer and Astro-photographer from New Zealand. This website is primarily a display of my work, but you can also purchase my photos to print out or use for phone wallpapers, and so much more. Commercial use isn’t available at the moment, but if that’s something you’re interested in feel free to get in touch!
Driven by awe and passion
My passion and curiosity for the outer reaches of our great big backyard will always come first in my photography journey. Every image is more than just pixels on a screen for me. It’s a glimpse into the unexplored. A getaway from the busyness of the earth, and nothing short of extraordinary.
I love what I do so much that I wanted to be able to share it with you! That’s why I started this website. To show the world what really lies in outer space. And sure, you may be able to go to Nasa’s website and get some incredible images from there, but I strive to bring a human touch to space. The photos I post aren’t images from a multi billion dollar space telescope, they’re comprised of countless late nights, an ever growing amount of hours spent shooting these targets and they’re all captured from my backyard down here on planet earth.
And no, none of this is AI. AI can get stuffed.
